Dimples

I love the fact, that even in an altered state of mind, people can see who I am and what I am all about. That’s really awesome!

The Armin van Buuren show last night was mind blowing! The crowd eagerly chanted AR-MIN over and over again. Armin finally graced us with his presence and he began to spin us into a beautiful and sweaty euphoric state of mind. For me, there were two highlights: Armin spun my favorite song Zocalo; and somwhere in the middle of his set the entire music just shut off! Armin looked a little lost and it seemed as if some photographer or someone else had tripped over his power cord, I don’t really know who it was, but Armin just smiled and started thrusting his fist in the air and the crowd continued chanting along! Armin van Buuren is such a good DJ that he doesn’t even need electricity to move the house. Seeing him at Ultra was one thing, but seeing him in a smaller venue was surreal.

Armin moved a sea of people last night. The ground was trembling so much, I’m sure it could have been registered as a small earthquake. Last night strangers danced, jumped and sweated as one; the sea of people feeding off of Armin and his beautifully blended melodies and Armin feeding off of us as we gave him everything we could and more. He gave us his all, and you could tell by the gorgeous smile on his face (his dimples are to die for). At the end of his set he hosted a round of autographs for the people in the front. He even signed an Amsterdam shirt that someone brought along and he proudly helded it up for a picture.

Armin is my muse.

Just another tasty treat from the Grooveshark gang :)

Enjoy!

  • Italian: color me intimidated.
  • Ginger_Ale: what does that mean
  • Italian: to be successful at what you do, I imagine you must be socially adept which means you're attractive, intelligent enough to multi-task complex numbers, shrewd enough to judge the potential in others, and wise enough to know your competition... plus you're younger than me.
  • Italian: and you've got good taste in music
  • * Really, the best compliment I can get is, you've got good taste in music...that makes me all giddy!

Childhood

I’m here at my Godmother’s house in West Palm Beach, and we just had an amazing BBQ! This is the first time since like 1985-1986, that I can remember, that we’ve hung out, just us. And by us I mean my mom, my godmother, my dad, my godfather and my cousin Marco. All we are missing is Susan. It feels like when we were in Chile and always hanging out and playing games, eating and laughing. *sigh* I miss those innocent days. I miss Chile. I miss my cats.

I should be back to Gainesville on Sunday via Douglas and his wife. This promises to be an exciting three hour trek back home. Two 25-something-yr-old chicks and Douglas! LOL

Bauer: Can I interest you in a packing party?
